Redbridge Recruitment are recruiting a Mid-level Associate for a progressive global firm who have established offices in Luxembourg city.

The successful candidate with 4 to 5 years previous experience, should either be list I or list IV of the Luxembourg bar with good knowledge of Luxembourg corporate law.
Acting on all elements of setting up investment funds, including drafting fund documents, discussions with the fund sponsors, tax structuring, negotiations with service providers, investors and regulators, drafting and negotiating legal opinions as well as any related regulatory issues.
You would also be involved in advising on Luxembourg regulatory issues in various cross-jurisdictional regulatory matters that involve Luxembourg structures or elements.
You would provide advice on fund documents in the context of fund financing transactions and investments in the funds (investor side work). You would closely work with the other members of the Luxembourg office and with other European based Investment Funds, Financial Regulatory, Banking and Tax teams.
As part of your role, you would be expected to manage projects or parts of projects that have been assigned to you, proactively handle any issues that may arise and liaise closely with colleagues, clients, counterparties and other advisers.You would be working as part of a committed and inspired friendly team.
You have experience of working for a top law firm with a strong presence in the Luxembourg market. The ability to provide legal advice in investment funds structuring and related regulatory issues with a commercial approach and good negotiation skills. Demonstrate business development sense with strong interpersonal skills as you will be in direct contact with clients. Capacity to draft and review legal documents and agreements. Ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels with team player spirit.
