Redbridge Recruitment is recruiting for a Senior Accountant \/ Fund Controller position.<\/p>\n
CITY CENTRE LOCATION<\/p>\n
Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n
\n
Review monthly reporting (TB, GL) for certain Luxembourg and other European entities, produced by service providers<\/li>\n
Assist the Financial Reporting team in the preparation of consolidation worksheets, quarterly IFRS financial statements and supporting note schedules for our fund entities, reporting to the team manager<\/li>\n
Actively support the annual fund audit process<\/li>\n
Maintain corporate bookkeeping records of certain companies in Yardi, process payments in various banking platforms, produce monthly reporting (TB, GL) in IFRS and annual financial statements in Luxembourg GAAP<\/li>\n
Provide input to the preparation of monthly and annual VAT returns, drafted by tax advisors or service providers and review the returns before filing<\/li>\n
Track tax liabilities and arrange for timely tax payments<\/li>\n
Monitor accounts payable and provide instructions to service providers for timely settlement<\/li>\n
Daily interaction with various service providers and internal teams in Europe and in North America<\/li>\n
Perform certain cash management tasks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Qualifications And Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n
\n
University or Bachelor’s degree<\/li>\n
Completed or near completed CPA designation or equivalent (ACCA, CIMA) is an asset<\/li>\n
Fluent in English; German is an asset but not required<\/li>\n
Prior exposure to full disclosure financial reporting and consolidation (IFRS and Lux GAAP)<\/li>\n
Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a financial accounting role<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Proven track record of financial analytical skills<\/li>\n
Self-starter with a willingness to learn and grow<\/li>\n
Good interpersonal and communication skills and team oriented<\/li>\n

Strong organizational skills, highly motivated to achieve results<\/li>\n
Self-motivated individual with a high level of attention to detail<\/li>\n
Knowledge of the real estate industry is recommended but not required<\/li>\n
Strong system skills (Excel and Word) required, experience in Yardi is a bonus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
